Introduction to Mindfulness Practices in South Dublin, February 2014
Mindfulness supports us to be present to ourselves in kindness and understanding in each and every moment. It helps us to deal more consciously and healthily with everyday stresses and with difficult life events. It can be a pathway to more respectful and peaceful living within ourselves, with our partners, our families and colleagues. This course is based on the work of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn.
The 4 week Mindfulness Course/Programme is practical and includes
- guided body scan meditation
- mindful breathing
- mindful movement
- quiet reflection

This 4 week introductory course will be taught by Seamus Connolly.
Seamus is a body-centred psychotherapist whose
practice of 20 years is based in mindfulness.
This course is based on the work of Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn from the Center Of Mindfulness at the University of Massachussetts Medical School. Seamus has completed professional practicum training with the Center of Mindfulness and adheres to their code of ethics for Mindfulness Teachers.
